Weight & Size Guidelines

KHE’s Container Drayage Services:

Asset-based. At KHE, with company owned trucks, regular and tri-axle chassis, step deck, lowboy and other equipment, allowing you to secure guaranteed capacity at a lower cost.

24 hours drayage services. KHE pre-pulls containers to our warehouse yard on 24-hour basis. We can also store your containers after they are emptied and awaiting for return appointments.

Overweight corridor. KHE has 2 facilities located at the Long Beach Overweight Corridor within 3 miles radius to terminals in the Port of LA/LB.

Container Flip and Storage. KHE has crane specifically to perform container flip and storage as needed.

Overweight & Oversize

KHE Overweight & Oversize Services:

Overweight corridor. The strategic location gives us the ability to handle overweight and oversize cargo at the Long Beach Overweight Corridor for both import and export.

Asset-based. We own various of special and permitted equipment such as tri-axle chassis, lowboy, tri-axle step deck, etc.

Permit eligible. We obtain the eligible permits for overweight and oversize cargo, so we can handle any special inquiry as you request.

Subsidiary Company. Pacific OOG & Project Trans Inc. is sister company of KHE, handles out of gauge cargos and special projects for port drayage (import and export), transloading and domestic transportation with permits.

Equipment Estimate Cargo Weight

Standard chassis, regular tractor 0 - 36,000lbs

Tri-axle chassis, regular tractor 36,001- 44,000lbs

Tri-axle chassis, four-axle tractor 44,0001 - 57,000lbs

40ft to 45ft Containers:

Equipment Estimate Cargo Weight

Standard chassis, regular tractor 0 - 44,000lbs

Tri-axle chassis, four-axle tractor 44,0001- 57,000lbs

Flat Rack, Open Top, and Others:

KHE can dray oversize and/ or overweight containers with company owned special equipment such as lowboy, step deck and obtains eligible permits for transportation.
